MEET PASTOR DAVENPORT.
D. Min., Ph.D., Bishop, Diocesan Bishop, and Pastor
Dr. Davenport was born and reared in Detroit, Michigan. He is the son of Gloria Hawkins and Henry Davenport III. He is a graduate of Pershing High School in Detroit.
He was saved under the Pastorship of Chief Apostle William L. Bonner at Solomon’s Temple Church in Detroit, Michigan. He was later commissioned by Apostle Bonner to travel to Nashville, Tennessee to start a church and begin a ministry for the Lord. He was consecrated Bishop of the Tennessee Diocese in August 2005.

Dr. Henry Davenport, IV is married to the former Pamela Wade, and has one daughter, LaShante and two granddaughters, Sailor and Shiyan Pamela. He is the Founder and Pastor of the True Way Church that has existed for thirty-three years and is in Nashville, Tennessee. He is an accomplished musician and has a well-known gospel radio ministry. He is an uncompromising servant of God, and the Lord has trusted him to carry out many visions.
On April 30, 2014, Pastor William L. Bonner appointed Bishop Henry Davenport to the position of Assistant Pastor to serve along with Bishop William Hall. Pastor Bonner, under the direction of the Holy Ghost on November 11, 2014, anointed Bishop Davenport to be pastor over Solomon’s Temple Church. He is presently serving faithfully in this position.
